Wheel Pose - chest open like a mammogram

There is a saying that the more flexi your spine is, the younger you are. What's one way to keep a flexi back?? Wheel (Chakrasana). Also a litty pose for upper body strength 💪. i wheel-y dare you to hold it for 1 minute 🌝


Wheel is not just about the lower backbend, but to do it safely and to practice it for a long time - you also need chest/shoulder opening to bend your thoracic spine (upper / mid back).


Remember you need chest and shoulder flexibility to prevent dumping in your low back!


💡 Priorities:

1/ backbend - low + mid/upper back (lumbar + thoracic)

2/ hip extension

3/ chest + shoulder opening 4/ strength!!
